St. Clair County, Michigan: Search Continues for Missing Man Michael Quick

Michael Quick missing

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MICHIGAN — Authorities and volunteers across the state are asking for the public’s help locating Michael Quick, a man who has been missing since June 2, 2026.

The case, identified by St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office as Report #26-22925, has drawn growing attention online as the missing persons advocacy group Missing In Michigan works to spread awareness through social media and shared flyers in communities far beyond where Quick was last seen.

Last Known Whereabouts

According to information released by Missing In Michigan, Quick’s last known activity was on 7 Mile Road in East Detroit. He had reportedly been doing work connected to Disabled Veterans of America at the time he was last seen or heard from.

That detail has become a key piece of the investigation, as friends, family, and volunteers try to retrace his movements in the days leading up to his disappearance.

Quick may be traveling in a black Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and black rims. The vehicle reportedly has visible front-end damage and a cracked windshield, both of which investigators hope could help someone identify the car if it is spotted on the road or parked somewhere in a neighborhood.

The license plate associated with the vehicle is 1QZU37. Anyone who sees a vehicle matching this description is urged to take note of the location and contact authorities rather than approach the car directly.

Community Sharing Effort Grows

Since the flyer was first posted, it has been picked up and shared by dozens of community members across Michigan, well outside St. Clair County itself. Comments on the original post show the flyer being shared in Shiawassee County, Oxford, the northeast Detroit area, Traverse City, Holland, and Calhoun County, among other places.

The wide geographic spread of the shares reflects how quickly missing persons cases can travel through community Facebook groups, especially when there is a description of a vehicle that could place the person almost anywhere in the state.

Missing In Michigan, the organization credited with producing the flyer regularly partners with families and local law enforcement to design and distribute missing persons flyers, often relying on social media sharing to extend the reach of cases like Quick’s far beyond what a single local report might achieve.

Group members frequently note in comments which towns or counties they are sharing the flyer in, creating a visible trail of community involvement and concern.

As of now, no new public updates on Quick’s location have been released. Investigators have not indicated whether the vehicle has been spotted or whether any leads have been developed since the case was first reported.

Anyone with information about Michael Quick’s whereabouts, or who believes they may have seen the black Chrysler 300 described in the flyer, is asked to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department at (810) 830-3142 and reference Report #26-22925.

Families of missing persons often stress that even small details, a sighting, a location, a description, can make a meaningful difference in helping investigators piece together a timeline and bring someone home safely.
